VR is Dead... Long Live XR!

As they say in Australia, it’s hard yakka keeping up with all this new fangled tech. Recently,  Google removed WebVR support from their Chrome browser, causing all sorts of headaches for people using Web based VR.

WebXR is the successor to WebVR, which SeekBeak now fully supports. What does this mean for you, then end user? Well, if we’ve done our job right, you won’t notice anything, and your content will function exactly the same as they did in the past. It’s a thankless job.

The good news is that since this is now an actual standard, we’ll be able to implement some cool new VR/XR features in the future, which will work the same across all current browsers. Watch this space!
