For Consenting Adults

Do I Have Your Consent?

Now that the GDPR has r̶u̶i̶n̶e̶d̶ ̶w̶e̶b̶ ̶b̶r̶o̶w̶s̶i̶n̶g̶ increased end users ability to manage cookies across every single website they visit, your business might also need to allow users to do that.

Well now you can!

Under “Analytics” in your Default or Snap Preferences, you’ll find a few new options.

Businesses using SeekBeak can now enable a Cookie Consent Manager which will show up before your viewers can see your content. Cookies are saved for a year, so they only have to do it once.

As a bonus, if Corporate is really itching to tick some boxes for legal, there’s also the ability to enter your own custom text as well.

Importantly, none of this interferes with any of our reporting/logging at all! It is strictly for 3rd party cookies.

Overlays Beta End of Days

Bug reports have all but dried up for Overlays, so we’re going to be removing the Beta status from them shortly.

If you’ve encountered any Overlay related hiccups that you can replicate, now’s your chance to submit a bug report. Of course you can always let us know afterwards as well, it’s just easier for us to sleep at night if a feature with a Beta tag has a bug compared to a feature that is released.

Speaking of Overlays, I put a new video out the other day showing how to use the Hover Actions to create Tool Tips. It covers multiple features of Overlays in general as well.

If you’re looking for some potentially new Overlay tricks to use, check out the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8zB1BtyyC0c
